If you have been listening to this program for some time you know that the purpose of the program is to encourage people to read and study the Bible as a vital part of everyday life.
As I teach the Bible I try to help you understand how I study the Bible so that you can learn some Bible study methods to use on your own. There is something special about studying the Bible and discovering the truth for yourself. Then you can use what others have written to check your discoveries.
At other times you can read commentaries and try to see how they came to their conclusions. This interactive process is a good way to learn God’s word and get the message. That is what I try to encourage and help you, the listener, to experience.
As we approach this coming year I trust you will consider committing to reading and studying the Bible on a regular basis. Pray for me that I might be able to inspire and help listeners learn how to study the Bible for themselves so they can spiritually feed themselves and become better equipped to share God’s message with those around them, especially within the family. I will be praying for this as well.
