In our study of the book of Jude we have considered who the author was. Then we identified a title and a key verse.  The title I suggested is, Prepared and Kept for the Presentation. I felt the key verse should be the last half of verse 1, “To those who have been called, who are loved by God the Father and kept by Jesus Christ.” 

With this title and key verse in place, I would summarize what the book is about as follows: If you are a Christian, no matter what you face in life, be assured that God will see you through it till that day when He presents you without fault in His glorious presence. If you got no more out of your reading and study of this book, this truth would suffice. Your study would have been beneficial.
 
But to dig a little deeper, consider some cross-references that will enrich your understanding of what Jude is saying. You will find many similarities when reading 2 Peter 2. Compare what Peter and Jude say about apostasy and the challenge to stay true to God.
 
I also encourage you to take out a concordance and note all the references in the Bible where it says, “He is able,” or “God is able.”  For example, Ephesians 3:20, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” Romans 16:25, “Now to him who is able to establish you by my gospel.”
 
It’s true, if you are a Christian, no matter what you face in life, be assured that God will see you through it till that day when He presents you without fault in His glorious presence.
