In our last visit we considered God’s ability to establish us no matter what we might be facing. As we continue to amplify God’s provisions and promises by which we can overcome when under attack, let’s reflect on God’s grace.

Paul says in Romans 16:20, “The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.” Grace is God’s unmerited favor. It is God doing for us what we can’t do for ourselves. It is God’s grace that makes His wisdom available to us. It is His grace that crushes Satan under our feet.

It’s an interesting picture to see the God of peace crushing Satan under our feet. He doesn’t need to raise His voice, nor do we, to experience victory over our enemy. All we need to do is trust. Jesus decimated Satan on the cross and made peace between God and us. What wonderful grace is this? And it is available to us by faith.

God is available and stands ready to help us in our time of need. All we need to do is cry out to Him and trust in Him. His grace never fails. At times He provides help through fellow believers. They provide encouragement to trust God. His help is always available and adequate.

Paul shares his testimony in 1 Corinthians 15:10, “By the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No. I worked harder than all of them – yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.   2 Corinthians 9:8 captures this truth as well. “God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
